Crease ("the app") is a lacrosse goalie stat-tracking app for iOS and Apple Watch. This page explains what data the app collects, how it's used, and who it's shared with.
Teams, players, games, shots, opponents, and tournaments you enter are stored using Apple's CloudKit, in your own private iCloud database. This data syncs across your own devices signed into the same iCloud account and is never accessible to us — we cannot see, access, or export it.
Crease uses Sentry to automatically report crashes and errors, so we can find and fix bugs. These reports may include device model, OS version, app version, and technical details about what the app was doing at the time — not your game data. The free tier of Crease shows a banner ad, served by Google AdMob. We request non-personalized ads only — Crease does not use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) or build an ad-targeting profile, so no App Tracking Transparency permission is requested. Google may still process technical data (such as IP address and general device information) to serve and measure ads, governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Crease Premium is an auto-renewable subscription processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment information — only whether your subscription is currently active, which Apple provides directly to the app.
Crease is intended for use by coaches and parents to track a team's statistics, not for direct use by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
You can delete individual teams, players, games, or your entire history at any time from within the app. Since your data lives in your own iCloud account, deleting the app or turning off iCloud sync for Crease removes it from your devices. Contact us below if you need help.
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
